Anthropic Announces Founder House Dates: SF Tech Week Oct 6–8 and Stockholm Oct 14 with $100,000 Compute Allocations
Anthropic scheduled two Founder House residency sessions for October 2026. The San Francisco residency runs October 6–8 during SF Tech Week, followed by a European summit in Stockholm on October 14. Accepted founders gain access to Anthropic research staff, red-teaming clinics, and up to $100,000 in Claude API compute credits.
Event Overview: Two International Founder Hubs
On October 1, 2026, Anthropic announced official dates for its upcoming Founder House residencies. The initiative targets seed and Series A founders building production architectures on top of Claude Opus 5.5 and Sonnet 3.7.
The flagship American cohort will run across three days from October 6 to October 8, 2026, in San Francisco during SF Tech Week. One week later, Anthropic will open its inaugural Nordic hub in Stockholm, Sweden, on October 14, 2026.

Program Structure and Cohort Deliverables
Selected startup founders will work directly alongside Anthropic research staff and systems engineers. The program centers on four tracks:
- System Prompt & Latency Clinics: 1-on-1 code reviews with the team that built Anthropic prompt caching, tuning round-trip time down to sub-300ms windows for real-time applications.
- Autonomous Red-Teaming Audits: Security engineers will subject participants' agent architectures to adversarial prompt injection and tool-misuse penetration tests.
- Compute Allocation: Teams with verified technical architectures receive between $25,000 and $100,000 in non-dilutive Claude API credits.
- Venture Partner Access: Dedicated partner hours with lead investors from Benchmark, Menlo Ventures, Index Ventures, and Lightspeed Venture Partners.

Location and Venue Logistics
San Francisco Cohort (October 6–8)
The SF Tech Week event takes place in the South of Market (SoMa) district, within walking distance of the central tech corridor. The three-day sprint concludes with a private demo showcase attended by 80 active enterprise and seed-stage investors.
Stockholm Cohort (October 14)
Hosted in partnership with the Norrsken House ecosystem, the Stockholm summit focuses on European enterprise AI governance, sovereign European cloud compliance, and cross-border financial automation models.
Application Requirements and Selection Criteria
Admissions operate on a rolling basis via Luma. The technical selection committee prioritizes:
- Working GitHub codebases with existing API integration.
- Demonstrable enterprise utility in automated code synthesis, cybersecurity auditing, medical research, or legal document extraction.
- Clear technical justification for large context windows (200k+ tokens) or low-latency cached pipelines.
